How to prepare an “Egg Roll”


Ingredients & their respective quantities:

Maida                                          :               25g
Egg                                              :               1 No. (Beaten)
Cucumber Finely Chopped          :               ½
Carrot Finely Chopped                :               ½
Onion Finely Chopped                 :               1/8
Tomato Ketchup                          ;               1 Tbsp
Chilly Sauce (Optional)                :               1 Tsp
Oil                                               :               ½ Tsp
Salt                                              :               To taste
Lemon Juice (Optional)                :               1 Tsp



Method:

Add some water to the Maida and make soft dough. Add some salt for taste. Later make a small chapatti from this dough and bake it slightly. Next, take a frying pan and pour the oil into it. Heat it mildly and pour the egg yolk and white into the pan and spread it in a circular shape. Immediately put the half baked chapatti over it so that the omelette sticks to its surface. Fry both sides of this chapatti till pink brown. Now take this off the pan and put it over a butter paper on a plate. The side with the egg should be facing upwards. Apply then the tomato ketchup over the entire area. If you want it hot, apply the chilly sauce too. Then spread the mixture of the chopped cucumber, carrot and onion in a single layer vertical column fashion. Add some salt for taste. Sprinkle some lemon juice over this salad column for added taste. Now roll this chapatti along with the butter paper covering its entire outer portion. Seal the bottom part of the rolled paper by twisting it around and leave the top portion open. You are now ready to eat & enjoy the Egg Roll!!!

Note: You can also add some deep fried chicken or mutton pieces to the roll to make it even more delicious.
