How to make a Cake (using an OTG)

* Baking pan used here is of dimensions: 16 cm (Diameter) X 6 cm (Height)


Method:

Step 1: Grind the sugar to fine powder in a mixer-grinder.
Step 2: Mix the bread spread and ground sugar powder in a bowl/vessel and beat well (for approx. 7 to 10 mins.). Remember the more you beat this batter, the better your cake will be.
Step 3: Break the eggs into another bowl/vessel and separate the egg white and the yolk.
Step 4: Beat the egg yolk (for approx. 3 to 5 mins.) and add it to the batter. Beat the batter again and mix the contents well.
Step 5: Beat the egg whites (for approx. 5 to 8 mins.) and add it to the batter. Beat the batter and mix the contents well.
Step 6: Keep aside a few pinches of refined flour (Maida) for dusting purpose and mix the rest along with baking powder. Sieve this mixture thrice. Now add this to the batter along with milk and beat well so that the contents mix well (for approx. 3 to 5 mins.).
Step 7: Add vanilla essence to the batter and mix well.
Step 8: Grease the baking pan with some butter and dust it with the refined flour (Maida).
Step 9: Pour the batter from the bowl/vessel into this pan. Spread the contents evenly.
Step 10: Preheat your oven for 10 mins. at 180 to 200 degree Celsius.
Step 11: Keep the baking pan on the Drip Tray and place it inside the preheated oven. Now bake at 180 degree Celsius for approx. 30 to 40 mins. Check if the cake has been baked well by inserting a knife in the middle portion and other areas of the cake. If the knife comes out clean, your cake is baked OK, else if you find batter sticking to its body then continue baking for another 5 to 10 mins.
Step 12: After the cake is baked, switch off the power to the oven and let the pan cool inside the oven (for approx. 10 to 15 mins.). Now carefully remove the pan from the oven and place it outside on the grill rack or such for further cooling.
Step 13: Cut your cake in pieces, eat well and enjoy!!!
